Maja confirms split with Matteo
Maja Salvador and Matteo Guidicelli have split up. Maja Salvador herself confirmed this when she guested on "Kris TV" on Friday, August 3.
“Sobrang magkaibigan kami. Kasi wala namang third party, parang nag-decide lang kami na i-end muna ang relationship kasi may priorities kaming dapat unahin, like siya yung career niya at pagiging triathlete niya,” Maja said.
She added that their busy schedules made them decide to go their separate ways.
“Siyempre yung oras mo sobrang mahahati sa lahat. Tapos ako din naman sa trabaho, yung taping namin, so minsan mahirap yung hindi laging nagkikita hindi mabalance yung oras sa isa't isa."
Last July, Maja’s tweet about “heartbreak” made people speculate that she and Matteo have broken up.
“I don’t know why they call it heartbreak. It feels like every part of my body is broken too,” Maja tweeted on July 22.
In an interview with Matteo at the Star Magic Games on Sunday, July 29, Matteo just gave a short message when asked how they are, without elaborating or admitting the breakup.
“Yeah, we’re friends. Everything’s good,” Matteo said.
