Man Booker Prize 2015 longlist unveiled

The Man Booker Prize for the best fiction novel revealed its longlist on Wednesday.

Entries must be written originally in English and published in the UK, although 2015 marks the second year in the contest's 45-year history that it has been open to writers of any nationality. The shortlist will be announced September 15, while the winner will be revealed October 13.

The longlist is as follows, in the order of the author's name, nationality, book title and publishing house:
