Marjorie Barretto unfazed by photo scandal

Thanks to her family, Marjorie Barretto is bravely facing the scandal her recently-uploaded half-naked photo has created.

In an interview aired on "The Buzz" on Sunday, May 13, Marjorie said, "Life has moved on. (The issue) is closed, very closed."

The mother of four  explained that she has to be strong for her children.

"[K]apag tayong mga mommy may pinagdaanang pagsubok, we have no choice but to get up immediately dahil meron tayong mga anak na umaasa sa atin," Marjorie said.

"You give yourself one or three days to cry, after that, you pick up yourself and life goes on, life moves on kasi may mga anak ka," she added.

"Mas malalakas ang mga loob ng mga anak ko. So walang dahilan para hindi ako maging matapang," the actress-turned-politician said further.

Still coping

In the same show,  Marjorie's sister Gretchen admitted that the former is still coping. There are times when she is okay and not okay. She also shared that Marjorie knows who the source of the photo is.

"Sabi niya, 'Gretch, hintayin natin na matapos ang election. Magsasalita ako, ilalabas ko ang dapat ilabas. Wala akong tinatago, meron lang akong mga pinoprotektahan.'" Gretchen said.

"So, I respect that after the election magsasalita siya. I hope and pray na itupad niya yung sinabi niya," the eldest of the Barretto celebrity sisters added.
