Martin Nievera rants on Twitter
Singer-TV host Martin Nievera turned to social networking site Twitter to express his feelings about the impending end of his late night talk show “Martin Late @ Night” five weeks from now.
"Ok tweet hearts. My biggest fear came true. Just found out martinlateatnight is only 13 episodes talaga. Then that’s it. Had high hopes sad,” Martin tweeted on April 23.
He continued to tweet about his show exactly a week after, when he commented on what he feels is an absence of support from the Kapamilya network.

“It’s hard to try & make l@n better if I don’t have the support from upstairs. They don’t even answer my texts.”
“U can not blame me if I am not rating like the prime time shows if u don’t support me like u support them. No band no live audience? How?”
“I know I am no teleserye or noon time show but if I had their support I would last longer. Can’t stay in the fight alone. So sad”
“It feels like the station is just waiting for my season to end so they can be rid of l&n to say, “ok we gave u a show! Now go to your room!””
He denied having ill feelings towards ABS-CBN.
“Attention everyone I have no Samang loob with my kapamilya. My contract is 13 weeks. Was just hoping they liked it the way u all do &extend,” Martin tweeted on Wednesday, May 1.
He continued, “It would be nice also to get a return call or reply to at least encourage or discourage me to improve or throw in the towel after 12.”
“I love my kapamilya & give 110 percent of myself to them. I am grateful 4 whatever they give me. But it feels like they r just waiting for13”
“Pls do not mistake my sadness for Samang loob. I am very grateful. It just feels like they r not watching & seeing my efforts. I love abscbn”
“I believe l&n has a place on abs. I see it as a nightly show, but my contract is 13fridays. my goal was to surpass that but thats nt my call”
Sad, almost pathetic
“It’s just sad almost pathetic that I have to make this much noise just to get a reply or return call. I think I have earned at least that.”

Martin was apologetic in the rest of his tweets. “Again I am not upset or Samang loob w/ my kapamilya! I love them& am grateful for whatever they give me. Just pls watch my last 5 episodes.”

“Pls don’t think I have been done wrong. It’s not like that. My contract Is what it is. I blame no one. I was just hopeful.”
