Matteo Guidicelli is on Cloud Nine after Yahoo Celebrity 2014 Female Performer of the Year and Celebrity of the Year nominee Sarah Geronimo confirmed their romantic relationship during the victory party of her movie "Maybe This Time."

"It's not just Sarah, it's Sarah my girlfriend," Matteo told ABS-CBN News.

Enjoy life

Matteo wants Sarah to enjoy life.

"I'm very proud of her, that she's standing up for herself. You know, she's 25 years old and she's starting to enjoy life more. I want to show her what life is! I just want her to be happy."

Matteo is more than happy now that his crush since five years ago is his girlfriend.

"She's just an amazing person. She's just amazing. Words can't explain how amazing she is. She's very good, she's nice."

Sarah and Matteo were first romantically linked after people noticed their closeness during the former’s overseas concert last year, where the actor was one of her guests. Matteo was also the only celebrity who attended Sarah's birthday last year.
