Ran graduated from Palawan State University with a degree in Hospitality Management. She is a sports enthusiast and was once a varsity player in swimming. She makes sure to keep herself fit and active because she believes that being healthy is not a state of the body but a responsibility.

Ran loves the thrill of water sports and activities, like jetskiing. She doesn’t mind getting her skin soaked under the sun and tanned.

Ran is into projects like gift-giving and fund-raising for orphanages. If she wins Miss World Philippines 2014, she says that she will use her influence to encourage people to help those in need even in simple ways, "and bring immense change to their lives by inspiring them and touching their hearts."
