Mo admits leaving the country 'for personal reasons'

Mo Twister has confirmed what many people have been speculating about for the past few months. He  is leaving the country “for a personal reason”  he does not want to reveal.

The “Paparazzi” host admitted in an interview with Cristy Fermin in the show on Sunday, November 27,   that “it’s been a rough year for me and I just need to go now.”

Sudden decision

He assured everyone that his sudden decision to leave everything he has worked for in the Philippines behind has nothing to do with a woman and that it’s not easy for him to say goodbye.

Suffice it to say that the TV host is convinced “mahirap na maging Mo everyday dito sa Pilipinas.”

But will the change of environment heal the pain he is going through?

Mo doesn’t think so.

He told co-host Ruffa Gutierrez: ”A new environment and a new country will not heal my heart because you don’t heal from these things.”

But even if Mo did not get into details, he dropped hints on the reason why he is leaving the country: “We all have a value set in our lives.  At kung ang values na ito ang matatapakan, masasaktan ka.”

Not closing doors

He is not closing his doors about returning to the country someday.

“I thought I’d better go away for awhile, maybe a year, maybe two years. Tingnan natin kung mababalik ang saya na nakita ninyo.”

His latest tweet read:  “Now that's out of the way, broadcasting live from the Upper West Side NYC is just a few weeks away.”

Because of Rhian?

Rumors have it that Mo is leaving because of ex-girlfriend Rhian Ramos, who said in an interview that she and Mo “are not even friends.”

It will be recalled that Mo and Rhian figured in a “Twitter War” about their break-up.

Mo even got labeled as a “kiss and tell” guy for revealing intimate details of their relationship on Twitter.

But it seems Mo has learned his lessons. He is now keeping his cards close to his chest.

“Sana maintindihan n’yo ako,” he pleaded towards near the end of his interview with Cristy.
