Most blogged artists: Kid Cudi, Glass Candy
Portland's Glass Candy, stylized as G/l/a/s/s/c/a/n/d/y, is on the Hype Machine's most blogged artists chart after premiering "The Possessed (Runway Edit)" at Paris Fashion Week, while Kid Cudi has just dropped his latest track, "Immortal."
Ida No and Johnny Jewel, better known as Glass Candy, premiered "The Possessed (Runway Edit)" on March 1 at Paris Fashion Week. The track, which will appear on a forthcoming Italians Do It Better compilation called "After Dark 2," has been causing a buzz on the music blogs, pushing the band into seventh on the Hype Machine's most blogged artists chart.
Stereogum described "The Possessed" as "over seven minutes of drawn-out, mid-tempo synth pop," while Silent Shout calls the track "gorgeous" and writes, "huge arpeggiated synths back a slow rolling disco groove, Ida intoning 'through the glass darkly.'"

Also causing a buzz is American hip-hop artist Kid Cudi, who has just dropped "Immortal." Taken from the upcoming LP "Indicud," the track was described as a "guitar-driven cut that Cudi happened to produce himself. Wailing over the beat, Cudi talks about living his life with super powers, albeit rather grimly" by Pot Holes In My Blog, while Idolator said the track "may be his strongest single off 'Indicud' yet."
