Most blogged artists: Marina and the Diamonds, Yacht

On Monday, May 6, UK alt pop artist Marina and the Diamonds is causing a buzz in the Hype Machine's most blogged artists chart after teaming up with London's Charli XCX on a new track, while Yacht enters in third position after having its track "Second Summer" treated to a RAC Remix.

Marina and the Diamonds, who despite the plurality of the stage name is actually the work of one Greek/Welsh singer, has just dropped "Just Desserts." The new track also features London's goth-pop princess Charli XCX and is causing a buzz on the indie music blogs. It was called "delicious" by Off The Radar Music, while Pigeons And Planes writes "The dense beat drenches the catchy lyrics, creating something that will no doubt be stuck in your head."

Marina and the Diamonds is touring the US with Charli XCX this month, beginning May 6 in San Francisco,  then taking in LA, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Denver and elsewhere before the tour finishes on May 29 in New York. See for more info.

In third place is Portand duo Yacht, whose track "Second Summer" has been treated to a remix by André Allen Anjos from RAC (Remix Artists Collection). The remix has been causing a stir across the blogs, with Apes On Tapes saying it "offers a nice, upbeat, bouncier twist to the sometimes-technical Yacht vibes," while Your Music Radar describes the remix as a "heart string tugging beat fest."
