Nick Cave, Warren Ellis releasing 'Far From Men' soundtrack
Songwriting pair Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have a May 18 date set for the release of their soundtrack to award-winning "Far From Men," adapted from writings by Albert Camus.
Starring Viggo Mortensen and Reda Kateb as the unlikely travelers, Algerian tale "Loin des hommes" (French title), based on Camus's short story "The Guest," picked up three awards upon its debut at the 2014 Venice Film Festival.
Cave and Ellis had previously worked together on "The Proposition," "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford," "The Road," and "Lawless."
Cave also provided the screenplay for "The Proposition," "Lawless," and a 2016 remake of "The Crow" which has Jack Huston in the lead role.
