To prepare her next runway show, the American designer is soliciting input from her Instagram followers.
On September 2, Rebecca Minkoff will post two looks from the label's latest collection to Instagram. Followers will then be invited to vote for the one they prefer, and the look that has the least votes will simply be eliminated from the designer's Spring-Summer 2015 runway show, which is set to take place in New York on Friday, September 5.
The idea is to let the clients who would wear the clothes "have a hand in creating what her new collection will be," according to the website Fashionista.
Never short on ideas, Rebecca Minkoff has often turned to social networks to promote her brand in the past, and she currently claims over 384,000 followers on Instagram and close to 200,000 on Twitter.
In past seasons, Rebecca Minkoff released exclusive content through the video app Keek and even became the first fashion label to use the messaging app Snapchat to unveil new looks.
