Olivia Palermo teams with Aquazzura for capsule collection
She is already admired worldwide for her style sense. Now, thanks to a tie-up with the Italian footwear brand Aquazzura, Olivia Palermo will present her own designs for the first time.
It was only a matter of time before the fashion industry invited Olivia Palermo, the socialite and it-girl known for her impeccable style, to design her own items. The Italian footwear brand Aquazzura has done just that, and the resulting capsule collection will launch this September.
The Aquazzura x Olivia Palermo line will include six timeless styles created in collaboration with the former star of the reality TV show "The City." Fans can expect to find thigh-high boots, ankle boots, pumps and even ballerina slippers.
These exclusive shoes will be available in just 12 stores worldwide, including Saks Fifth Avenue in the US and Antonia in Italy. However, for those who can't make the trip, the collection will be available online exclusively through Net-A-Porter.
"Olivia and I have a very similar vision of shoes. She is a real style icon and has amazing knowledge about shoes and accessories," explains Aquazzura creative director and co-founder Edgardo Osorio. "We wanted to create a capsule collection of the styles every woman needs in her closet, interpreted with the Aquazzura aesthetic and seen through the eyes of Olivia."
