The Kapamilya star bagged her third OMG! award by winning the Breakthrough Actress of the Year
Honors last Friday, July 19 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Kathryn was OMG!’s Most Promising Actress in 2012 and its Awesome Young Actress awardee in 2011.
The star of the primetime show “Got to Believe” scored 278,152 votes, with Kapuso actress Andrea Torres coming in second (110,603 votes). Kathryn’s fellow Kapamilya star Jessy Mendiola came in third with 42,539 votes followed by Bianca King (30,909 votes) and Jasmine Curtis-Smith (15,311 votes).
Part of Kathryn’s success lies in her special friend and on screen partner Daniel Padilla, the other half of the KathNiel love team.
Kathryn’s single, “Mula Noon Hanggang Ngayon,” soundtrack for “Princess and I,” reached gold status.
