Ryzza Mae Dizon, or “Aleng Maliit” as she is lovingly called, scored her nth victory when she was named OMG! Child Star of the Year in a star-studded awards night held at the MOA Arena on Friday, July 19.
The eight-year-old star was there herself to receive her much-deserved trophy while fans shouted “Ryzza! Ryzza!” as she ascended the stage.
Eat Bulaga’s Little Miss Philippines 2012 title holder was a runaway winner with 205,804 votes. Coming in second is Kapamilya actress Xyriel Manabat with 64,064 votes, followed by Mutya Orquia with 41,709 votes; Xaijian Jaranilla with 20,613 and Mona Louise Rey with 7,892 votes.
Ryzza is poised to end 2013 with a big bang via her first Metro Manila Filmfest entry, “Torky and My Little Bossing,” where she is paired with Bimby Yap, Kris Aquino’s six-year-old son.
