Park Shin Hye Sends 50 Million Won Donation to Ferry Victims

Joining the growing number of stars sending support, Park Shin Hye donated 50 million won to the ferry accident relief.



On April 23, S.A.L.T Entertainment spoke with enews and said, “Just like the entire nation, Park Shin Hye was very sad after the Sewol sinking accident.” The rep added, “Wanting to help out even a little, she gained confidence [to donate]. She told the agency after she donated on her own. She’s quite embarrassed after it became publicized.”

One news media said that Park Shin Hye donated 50 million won to the Korea Disaster Relief Association, an NGO that is the only disaster relief organization acknowledged by the government.

Ahead on April 18, Park Shin Hye tweeted, “Please, please be safe. I hope there is no more harm. I am praying and praying that they all return to their families.”
