Paulo Avelino, KC Concepcion exchange ‘I love you’s’
Although they haven’t confirmed the status of their relationship, Paulo Avelino and KC Concepcion admit they have already said “I love you” to each other.
“Hindi ako ma-‘I love you’ eh. Pero nag-ano na ako, ‘wavu.’ So naiinis siya kasi hindi siya ‘I love you.’ Parang ganoon,” KC said in an interview in “Gandang Gabi Vice” on Sunday, January 11.
‘Wavu’ is KC’s version of ‘I love you.’
Something special
Paulo and KC have always said in interviews that they have a special connection.
“Mahal ko naman talaga si Kristina,” Paulo said in the same episode.
Asked if they’re already a couple, KC urged Paulo to speak for them.
“Like I’ve said before, we have something special,” the actor said.
Challenges as friends
He added that he and KC don’t have an exact date when their special relationship started. They have been friends for a long time but got to know each other better only in 2014.
“We have something special, yung tini-treasure naming iyon pero wala kaming exact date.”
KC added that they went through challenges as friends. KC went to the US for four months to study.
The two unfollowed each other in their social media accounts until they reconnected when the actress came back from the US.
“Wala yung date talaga kasi siguro, may time na parang ano ba talaga ito? Umalis pa ako ng four months papunta ng States. Pag-uwi ko hindi pa namin sure kung itutuloy ba namin nang super todo or kung nag-eenjoy lang kami sa company ng isa’t isa. May time na nag-uusap kami ulit. Tapos yung time na nagkasakit yung lola ko, andoon siya noong important moments.”
Wife material
Paulo said that KC, whom he calls Chuchay, is wife material.
“Siguro sa mga lalaki, wala ka nang hahanapin kay KC kasi beauty and brains. Tapos sobrang ganda pa ng personality. So siyempre kung may pakakasalan ka in the future, gusto mo ng ganoon.”
While others see KC as intimidating, Paulo thinks she’s friendly to many people.
“Si KC, kumbaga, you look at her na parang very formal. Pero kung nakausap mo siya, she talks to them like a normal person. We started out as friends talaga then nagkaroon ng connection.”
