(UPDATE 2) -  KC Concepcion finally broke her silence regarding the pregnancy rumors that have been hounding her.

The Kapamilya actress stressed on Instagram on Monday, June 2 that "I am not pregnant. I have never been pregnant in my whole entire life."

KC added that if ever she will be blessed with a baby in the future, she wouldn't hesitate to announce it.

"When the time comes that I would be blessed with a beautiful baby I will be the first one to proudly announce it to my family, friends, supporters, loved ones. Although I don't want to be rushed, I honestly can't wait for that day," she posted, alongside a photo of herself working out

Her special friend, Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino, also denied that the US-based actress is pregnant.

"I think it is not true. Hindi naman. It's not. Kumbaga nagpo-post naman sya ng kung anu-ano (sa social media). She's also seeing a lot of Filipinos (too)," Paulo told reporters at the press conference of ABS-CBN's newest teleserye "Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon" on Thursday, May 29.

Distance problem

Paulo admitted he and KC tried to take their relationship to the next level. But the physical distance between them kept them from getting even closer.

"We are still friends. Minsan it looks easy kung malayo, pero it is really different. Iyon lang talaga, it's the distance."

Netizens surmised that KC and Paulo’s relationship was nipped in the bud after the actress posted an Instagram photo of what seems to be a silhouette of the two of them together, with the words, “Our roads are gonna cross again. It doesn't really matter when."

Happy heart

"There's communication and we are still friends pa naman. Wala namang pain, happy heart," Paulo, who’s not closing his doors on a full-blown relationship with KC, said.

He now prefers to focus his attention on showbiz commitments, especially his teleserye,  "Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon."

"Ngayon, parang gusto ko munang magconcentrate sa aking career kasi ang dami ko ring ginagawa. So, doon lang din talaga ang oras ko (sa new teleserye)."

Leaner, healthier-looking

The leaner, healthier-looking Paulo took care of his diet and got into an exercise regimen because of his and co-star Bea Alonzo’s sensual scenes in the teleserye.

"Nagbigay talaga ako ng panahon to prepare physically and to really get into my character. Mukhang umabot naman yung pag-workout ko. We also had workshops for chocolate making."

Paulo plays a chocolatier who falls in love with Bea's character.

He admits Bea and their directors helped make his otherwise difficult sensual scenes with the actress easier.

"Minsan nahihiya ka rin sa eksena mo especially sa babae. At nirerespeto mo rin ang ka-eksena mo. Nakatulong rin in a way, na si Bea, sinasabi niya na okay lang para sa eksena namin."
