The Kickstarter-funded role-playing video game that has been beset with delays is finally available to buy.

Initially called Project Eternity, the campaign, which hit the crowd-funding site in September 2012, raised over $3 million, becoming the most successful game-based project in Kickstarter history at the time, and to date is still the 10th most successful campaign of any description.

Initial backers may have had to wait two and a half years for their first chance to play the finished game but it is now available on the Steam platform as well as for Mac OSX and Windows, and prices for those who didn't back the project in its Kickstarter days start at $44.99 for the basic game without add-ons.
