Pledis Entertainment to debut a new boy band, SEVENTEEN

Pledis Entertainment's new boy band, SEVENTEEN, will release their debut album on May 22nd.

On May 22nd, Pledis Entertainment is going to release the debut title track and its music video of their new boy band, SEVENTEEN, through every online music websites of Korea.

SEVENTEEN's debut title track is called 'I Cherish You,' and 'I Cherish You' is a song with catchy melodies and quick beats.

Along with this news, Pledis Entertainment release the jacket image of SEVENTEEN's first debut mini-album, '17 Carats,' through SEVENTEEN's official website.

The jacket image was motivated from crystal structure of diamond, and it represents how SEVENTEEN members will transform into diamonds from gemstones.

In addition, the blue color represents SEVENTEEN members' colossal potential.

SEVENTEEN's debut mini-album will be composed of five tracks called 'Shining Diamond,' '20,' 'Ah Yeah,' and Jam Jam,' and those five tracks have been prudently selected from many songs that SEVENTEEN members composed.

All of the members have prepared for their debut for four years, and the members will also debut as unit groups in future projects.

SEVENTEEN members debut process was showed through channel MBC MUSIC's reality program, 'SEVENTEEN Project,' recently, and many K-Pop fans are showing huge anticipation for the new paradigm that SEVENTEEN will show.

They also released a song called 'Shining Diamond' earlier, and deeply impressed many K-Pop fans and their senior musicians with its quality. 'Shining Diamond' is a song written by SEVENTEEN's Woo Ji, and Jessi, Raina, Son Dam Bi, and Ailee showed explosive reactions for the song on 'SEVENTEEN Project.'

Meanwhile, the last episode of 'SEVENTEEN Project' will air on May 23rd at 1 PM, and the last episode is going to show SEVENTEEN's debut showcase.
