Poppy Delevingne picked as first Jo Malone London Girl

British model Poppy Delevingne has been named as the upmarket fragrance brand's first ever brand ambassador.

According to Jean-Guillaume Trottier, the company's Global General Manager, the partnership is a "natural appointment" as Poppy is a "dedicated, vivacious character, with huge international appeal."

Delevingne will be tasked with being the physical embodiment of Jo Malone London's spirit of "sophistication, originality, wit and hospitality" and will also be curating and hosting a number of special events and providing her input on projects over the next 12 months.

"I've been wearing Red Roses since I was 22. The first thing that drew me to my husband James was his scent, and when I asked him what it was he said, Amber & Lavender," said Delevingne of her new role. "Jo Malone London is woven into the fabric of my life and I couldn't be happier to be working with a brand I love so much."
