Promoters: PH Gangnam Style concert postponed

Joed Serrano (That's Ntertainment) and Renen de Guia (Ovation Productions) have confirmed that Psy's Manila concert won't be pushing through on December 20.

The official statement sent to Yahoo! Philippines OMG! reads: "The organizers of the 'Gangnam Style' event on December 20,2012 at MOA Arena have collectively agreed to postpone the event to February 20, 2013 due to logistical issues. Psy remains extremely excited about visiting the Philippines and looks forward to performing for his fans in early 2013."

The concert originally dubbed as "Psy Gangnam Style" was supposed to feature local artists Anne Curtis, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Vhong Navarro, Pokwang, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, Pooh, Ate Gay, K Brosas and Chocoleit.

It was also revealed that the show’s proceeds will be donated to Ciara Marie Foundation and victims of typhoon Pablo.

“Isa sa request niya ay dapat may proceeds or mayroong beneficiary. Matulunging tao siya (Psy). Na-surprise rin kami doon. In fairness, napakabait niya para maisip pa niya iyon,” Joed said during the concert's press conference on December 10.

Now, fans would have to wait a little bit more to see their "Oppa" Psy in Manila.
