PSY receives Ok Gwan Culture Medal
PSY commented about receiving Ok Gwan Culture Medal.
On 19th, '2012 Korea Popular Culture Award' took place at Seoul Olympic Hall, and PSY was awarded Ok Gwan Culture Medal.
PSY couldn't attend the event himself, because he is continuing promotion at overseas, but he expressed his thanks through a video message, and said, "I feel so overwhelmed for such an honor. I'm sorry that I could not make it there, and thank you once again."
PSY also said, "I'll keep doing my best in spreading K-POP further and further."
After releasing 'Gangnam Style' this summer, PSY grew largely popular from all over the world, and he made significant records.
On the other hand, PSY won New Media Honoree during The 40th American Music Awards, which took place on 18th in LA.
