Rare screenings of 'The Sound of Music' in New York
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Museum of the Moving Image in New York will play host to two special archival screenings of "The Sound of Music" in celebration of the film's 50th anniversary.
The screenings are to take place on Saturday, May 2 at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, New York at 1:00pm and 5:30pm.
Tickets are $15 for the general public and $9 for museum members and Academy members.
