Reese Witherspoon scoops Tinkerbell Disney movie

Reese Witherspoon has been signed up to "Tink", a new live-action movie from Disney that focuses on the life of the Peter Pan character Tinkerbell.

The film will be set in the world of the famous J.M. Barrie novel, with the fairy Tinkerbell as its star, reports Variety.

The script is being written by Victoria Strouse, known for her work on "New Best Friend" and "Finding Dory". It will be produced by Witherspoon along with her professional partner Bruna Papandrea for their company Pacific Standard.

Further details regarding the movie's plot and timeline have yet to be announced.
