Robin Padilla calls BB ‘sister’
Did Robin Padilla finally acknowledge his brother Rustom Padilla as BB Gandanghari? Based on Robin’s Instagram post on Monday, July 1, the answer seems to be yes.
Robin’s caption on the photo he posted of his son Ali together with BB in a hospital room read, “My son Ali showing his boxing moves to my sister bb gandanghari who used to be my brother Rustom who beats me up when we were young. she #is so weak because of a very serious infection but her right cross is still as fast as before my son was surprised and amazed.”
What struck Robin’s followers was the fact that Robin finally called BB “my sister,” and finally stopped referring to him as his “brother Rustom.”
Robin’s wife Mariel Rodriguez also commented on the Instagram post.
“I hope he recovers soon. im glad u went there.”
Followers approve
Many of Robin’s followers approved of the Instagram post.
It will be recalled that Robin and BB were not in speaking terms after the former decided on a name change and a complete transformation. But Robin and BB have always expressed their respect for each other’s opinions.
“Kanya kanyang prinsipyo tayo sa buhay. Trip niya iyon, masaya siya doon, eh ‘di bahala siya. Kami, masaya kami dito. Pero siyempre kapag may nangyari sa kapatid mo, ikaw ang unang pupunta doon. Wala nang basagan ng trip ngayon. Ang tatanda na natin, may basagan pa ng trip?,” Robin said in a previous interview.
