Robin Williams' last film to open Ischia Global Film Festival

The deceased actor's final film, "Boulevard" will open Italy's Global Film and Music Festival in Ischia on July 12.

Robin William's last onscreen role was in "Boulevard," where he plays a married bank employee forced to confront his repressed homosexuality. The movie, directed by Dito Montiel, will be released July 10 in the US and will open the Ischia Film and Music Festival two days later.

"Boulevard" has already been released at the Tribeca 2014 Film Festival, but this Italy screening will mark its European inauguration. It is the last of four films released after Williams' passing in August 2014.

The 13th edition of the Ischia Festival will run July 12-19, and includes other films such as Doug Ellin’s "Entourage" and Rob Cohen’s "The Boy Next Door" starring Jennifer Lopez.
