Rocco Nacino plans more travels with Lovi Poe
Rocco Nacino is standing pat on his decision to keep mum on the real score between him and rumored girlfriend Love Poe, even after they spent more than a week in Europe.
“About this thing, I’d rather keep it private. People know a lot about us, and this thing we want to treasure and keep private,” he told media men at the presscon for his latest endorsement, Nisce Skin N’ Face.
But he didn’t deny Lovi is a great travel companion.
“We went to Rome, then Almalfi Coast, then London, then Paris. We got to bond a lot. We became closer to each other. We’re both physically and spiritually refreshed.”
Next destinations
Rocco enjoyed Lovi’s company so much, he hinted that he will be travelling more with her.
“We’re planning [to go to] Japan. We’ve always wanted to go to Greece [too]. Maybe next year, ipon muna kami. Maybe Japan, Greece or LA.”
With vacation over, Rocco has shifted to work mode. He admits getting star struck, for a good reason: Nora Aunor. At first, Rocco can’t get over the feeling that he is actually standing before Nora, his co-star in the upcoming Cinemalaya film, Hustisya.
“We had a story conference yesterday, so it was my first time meeting her [Nora]. Na-starstruck ako.”
Dark character
Starring opposite Philippine cinema’s “Superstar”, sent butterflies in Rocco’s stomach, even before the cameras started to grind.
“It's because all my scenes are going to be with her [Nora] kaya kinakabahan ako. And our scenes are like, two to three pages long. Ngayon pa lang I'm trying to get into my character.”
His character is a far cry from his previous ones because it is dark and controversial.
“Isa akong lawyer na very efficient, very charming, matalino, but then wala siyang puso. It will be important kasi I'll be the one to change Nora Aunor. Ako [yung] magbabago sa kanyang pananaw sa buhay.”
