Rome gets the Victoria's Secret treatment as Angels shoot new holiday campaign

It is summer vacation season, but there has been no slacking off for the Victoria's Secret Angels -- the models have been working as hard as ever on their next big ad campaign.

The team of beauties headed over to Rome last week to film the cult lingerie brand's holiday ad ahead of the winter, and were kind enough to share some of their behind-the-scenes shenanigans with their adoring fans on Instagram using the hashtag #VSholiday15.

Alessandra Ambrosio led the way with a series of cute backstage hair and makeup pics, as well as a photo of her and fellow model Ana Beatriz Barroz chilling during a rare moment of downtime in the Italian capital. She also posted a stunning shot of the Angels lined up and walking towards the camera against a fake snowy backdrop, each wearing a different colored silk robe in hues of pastel blue, peach, mink, deep blue or shocking pink. As with all Victoria's Secret campaigns, the look is high-voltage glamour, with big, tousled hair worn in loose waves and strong, feline eye makeup. The Brazilian model captioned the image: "Another day, another office."

American superstar Lily Aldridge made it a family affair, posting an adorable picture of herself and her daughter eating ice cream in the backstreets of the ancient city. But she made time to hang out with her fellow Angels, as demonstrated by a snap titled "Girls night in Rome", and in particular with Behati Prinsloo Levine, with the duo hanging out in their bras under various monuments, as demonstrated by this picture.

Adriana Lima shared a hilarious photo of her and Lais Ribeiro wearing facemasks to get that angelic glow for the cameras, while Senior Creative of the brand Ed Razek also got in on the act, posting photos of Jasmine Tookes, Lily Aldridge and other Angels prepping for the shoot. He also posted this gorgeous image of the campaign's location.

The Victoria's Secret holiday campaign 2015 will launch later this year, and we can't wait to see the final result.
