Is Ryan Gosling about to join the 'Blade Runner' sequel?
The actor would join Harrison Ford who has already signed on for the follow-up film to Ridley Scott's original dystopian sci-fi classic.
Gosling is understood to be in negotiations with Alcon Entertainment about taking a role in the well-publicized Denis Villeneuve-directed sequel.
And while the decision to revisit the story of Blade Runner police units and Nexus 6 replicants has had more than its fair share of media attention, what the film will focus on is still very much a mystery.
All that is known for sure is that the script will be co-written by Hampton Fancher who also co-wrote the original and that original director, Ridley Scott will also have some form of creative input.
Shooting is expected to start in 2016.
