Sandara Park celebrates 30th birthday in Manila
K-pop group 2ne1’s Sandara Park has not forgotten her showbiz roots. The Korean pop star now more popularly known as Dara, had an early birthday celebration in the Philippines, where she started her showbiz career in 2004.
The birthday party last Saturday, November 8, came four days ahead of her 30th birthday on Wednesday, November 12.
Her friends from local showbiz, including Luis Manzano, Christian Bautista, Erik Santos and Sam Concepcion, shared photos of the birthday party on social media.
Humility
“Great to see you Dara in Manila again! Enjoy your birthday week,” Christian posted.
Sam, who went to the party with girlfriend Jasmine Curtis, came from ABS-CBN’s Philharmonic concert “Tale As Old as Time” at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
Erik posted a photo with Sandara and said, “Happy birthday Sandy @daraxxi. Really appreciate your friendship. It was great to see you again after a long time. Enjoy your day
Luis, who hosted the talent show Star Circle Quest where Sandara started her showbiz career, noted how she has remained humble despite her achievements

This is Sandara’s third visit to Manila this year. She joined 2ne1’s successful “All or Nothing” concert at the Mall of Asia Arena in May and returned in August to support her friend Lydia Paek’s show in Quezon City.
Sandara met up with TV host Robi Domingo when he went to Seoul last week.
