Sharon Cuneta's mom passes away
Elaine Cuneta, Sharon Cuneta’s mother, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital Global City on Wednesday, She was 79.
Sharon's daughter and Kapamilya actress KC Concepcion announced the sad news on Twitter on Wednesday, November 5.
Best grandma ever
"Hi. I just lost the love of my life today. My Mita (Elaine Cuneta) will forever be the BEST GRANDMA EVER. She will forever be with me. I love you, my Mita," KC tweeted.
KC, who described her grandma as a 'super lola’, shared that Elaine is her inspiration.
"She loved life, gave us all beautiful adventures. She knew me more than I knew myself."
KC also posted a photo of her grandmother, who looked so happy when she was still alive.
Fun times
"I will miss you laughing this much, this way. I shared so many fun times with you that I will recreate forever. You are my sunshine, Mita," KC posted.
She turned emotional in the November 3 episode of “Kris TV,” where she talked about her grandmother, who has been confined in the hospital for two months. KC was teary-eyed as she recalled how her grandmother always decorates their house at Christmas.
"Alam kong she's struggling and fighting so much to be well. But she's doing well. The doctors and nurses are taking care of her. Alam niya na mahal na mahal namin siya," KC said in the show.
