Sienna Miller's "slightly bigger" bust was a challenge for the costume designer on new Hitchcock TV drama The Girl.
Diana Cilliers is the woman responsible for dressing Sienna in a Hitchcock heroine style.
The iconic females famed for working with the feared and respected film maker all sported perfect poise, champagne-hued hair and impeccably tailored clothes.
Diana revealed how she came to task in recreating this iconic style for Sienna’s role as Tippi Hedren in the upcoming TV adaptation.
"Clean, unfussy clothes were a major part of the films," Diana revealed to British magazine Grazia.
"Women were serious and the clothes reflected that."
Sienna was in the early stages of pregnancy while they were filming. Diana discussed how this affected her wardrobe creations for the blonde actress.
"[Did that make the outfits a challenge?] Her bust was slightly bigger, but that's all," Diana explained.
Diana managed to effectively mould Sienna into a convincing version of the now 82-year-old actress Tippi. Sienna has spoken about how this is what Hitchcock aimed to do with the females he cast in his movies too.
"Hitchcock moulded her [Tippi] to be his creation of the perfect Hitchcock blonde," Sienna explained.© Cover Media
