Veering away from all the drama flicks and romantic comedies invading our movie screens is Star Cinemas newest coming of age film tentatively titled "The Reunion."
Topbilled by four of the most promising actors of their generation - Xian Lim, Enrique Gil, Kean Cipriano and Enchong Dee, the movie is about a group of friends who are looking for the true meaning of love and happiness. The said flick will also pay tribute to OPM music. The movie's director, Frasco Mortiz, shared a few plot details during "The Reunion's" story conference.
May ginawa kasi silang kasalanan noong high school at feeling nila kaya di pa sila nakakapag-move on sa buhay nila ngayon dahil sa nangyari before."
All four male leads were one in saying that they're very excited about the said flick, particularly because they'll be working with each other for the first time. Enchong added, "Exciting like, for example, si Kean, first time namin siyang makakasama kaming lahat. Tapos for 2011 most-talked about actors si Xian at Enrique. Kumbaga maganda ang mix namin. We will work on our camaraderie pero at the moment yung initial meet up namin eh ganito na kami, lalo na siguro sa paggawa ng movie."
Another question asked during the story conference was about expectations. What are they expecting to learn or achieve by doing this movie?
In line with his answer, Enrique and Xian revealed that they're looking forward to making a good movie and having fun at the same time. As for the male stars respective love interests, Direk Frasco revealed that they've already come up with a list of potential leading ladies. However, no final decisions have been made.
