Super Junior′s Donghae is set to make his big screen debut

Super Junior′s Donghae will be making his full-fledged debut on the big screen.

According to a number of officials in the industry on December 14, Donghae has been cast as the male lead for the film You Belong Here.



You Belong Here is about how Chae Yi, an aspiring writer, moves into a small village that will soon be demolished and gets to know the strange people living there.

Director Kang Hye Yeon, who won the Artreon Award at the 2012 International Women′s Film Festival in Seoul, will lead the piece.

Donghae has been cast for two roles, Hyun Soo, the man that Chae Yi has a crush on, and Jung Woo, who secretly takes care of her. A fashionable actress in her 30s is expected to be cast for the Chae Yi role.

Donghae previously proved he can act skillfully through the dramas It′s Okay, Daddy′s Girl and Ms. Panda and Mr. Porcupine. He also ventured to the big screen with the Super Junior movie Attack on the Pin-up Boys in 2007 and the concert movie Super Show 3D in 2011, but this will be his first bit on the big screen with an official role.

The film will begin filming in early 2013, aiming to premiere in the same year.
