‘To the Beautiful You’ Cast Shows Off New School Uniforms
With less than a month to go, SBS’ upcoming drama To the Beautiful You is gearing up for its big premiere by releasing photos of the cast wearing school uniforms.
The six actors featured in the most recent stills show f(x)’s Sulli, SHINee’s Minho, Lee Hyun Woo, Kang Ha Neul, ZE:A’s Kwang Hee and Seo Jun Young, looking fresh and young in their tailored school uniforms.
The uniforms were specifically handmade for the drama and were created after a month full of close calculations and measurements of each actor involved in the project. Each outfit was designed to fit the unique personality of each character.
The fashion director, Choi Hye Ryun, said, “We focused more on keeping the uniforms minimal in design but still unique from the standard school uniform. With the nice lines the uniforms create, we tried to make sure they remained trendy and perfect matches to the characters.”
She added, “Also because the characters are athletic school students, we focused a lot on keeping the uniforms loose enough to allow some freedom. The uniforms will give another kind of enjoyment while watching the drama.”
The drama will begin on August 15.
