Traffic re-routed for Dingdong Dantes-Marian Rivera wedding
Motorists and commuters along E. Rodriguez and other streets near the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Cubao, Quezon City, should brace themselves for heavy traffic, especially in the afternoon of Tuesday, December 30. Local officials have decided to re-route traffic for the grand wedding of Kapuso stars Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera at 3 p.m.
No less than President Noynoy Aquino himself will stand as Witness of Honor to the wedding. Accompanying him is sister Kris Aquino.
According to a report on 24 Oras, bleachers have been set up outside the church for DongYan fans who can’t get in to witness the ceremony, which they can watch through a wide screen.
The local barangay will deploy less than a hundred personnel to secure the area.
A vintage Mercedes Benz, which Dingdong had restored will transport Marian from Solaire Hotel to the church, where her father, Francisco Garcia, mother Amelia and grandmother will escort the Belo bride to the altar.
Dingdong will wear Randy Ortiz while Marian will look radiant in Michael Cinco at the wedding and Francis Libiran at the reception.
The entourage consists of 20 pairs of principal sponsors and 3 pairs of best men and maids of honor.
Culinary expert Margarita Fores was tapped to prepare Spanish-Filipino cuisine during the reception, which will follow immediately at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The couple will donate cash gifts to Dingdong’s Yes Pinoy Foundation.
Marian said in a previous interview that she wants to have children right after the wedding.
