Trailer released for 'Secret in their Eyes' featuring Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman and Chiwetel Ejiofor
On Tuesday June 30, STX Entertainment released the first trailer for "Secret in their Eyes."
Based on the Argentinean director Juan José Campanella’s "El secreto de sus ojos," "Secret in their Eyes" is a revenge thriller written and directed by Billy Ray.
The recently-released trailer reveals three law enforcement officials -- played by Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman and Chiwetel Ejiofor -- involved in the story of what STX describes as a "shocking, unspeakable secret that will reveal the enduring, destructive effects of personal vengeance on the human soul."
The original movie by Campanella won an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film at the 82nd Academy Awards. Billy Ray's reinterpretation will be released on October 23, 2015.
