Tried and tested: Bioline Primaluce Exforadiance Brightening Illuminating Mask

Verdict: Exfoliating face mask for all skin types including sensitive, Bioline claims it works well on acne, wrinkles, scars and pigmentations. I am 30-years-old and have normal to sensitive skin without much age-related damage except for a few minor lines. I love this mask. It smells great, it’s straight forward to use and it leaves skin clean and soft. My skin feels tight, too, and not tight as is in dry and irritated, but tight as in elastic and youthful. Even once when I suddenly had to wash it off after only a few minutes, the effect was evident. It is hard to tell whether my lines have diminished, but I think they might have.

Tried and tested: Matis Réponse Temps Densifiance Mask

Verdict: This mask is supposed to diminish lines and skin irritations, while increasing elasticity and moisture levels in skin. I am 31-years-old and maybe too young to use a face mask with the high levels of active ingredients I can find in this product (clygolic acid, inca inchi oil amongst others) but since I have some wrinkles and pigmentations I still feel I am right for this product. After using the mask, my skin feels soft but not super soft, as it should. I see no difference in my pigmentations or wrinkles, and while I know it is hard to see improvements in these areas I still feel a face mask with such strong claims should deliver more. It works well as a moisturiser but so do many other face masks, so I can’t see what is new or great about this product.

Tried and tested: Kérastase Cristalliste Lait Cristal

Verdict: I am a trained hairdresser but haven’t worked for a year. I am a beauty blogger too and keep myself updated when it comes to groundbreaking ingredients in hair care. My own hair is colour-treated, fine and somewhat dry with really dry ends. And I can honestly say this is the best conditioner I have ever tried. My hair gets super soft and very shiny without being weighed down. A little goes a long way, too. So do invest in this if you have long, dry hair. If you have very dry, damaged hair I should choose products from Kérastase Volumactive range instead.
