Vice Ganda’s Twitter account hacked

Vice Ganda’s Twitter account @vicegandako was hacked on Sunday, July 24.

As reported in ABS-CBN’s “The Buzz,” the Twitter account of Vice Ganda, which has over six hundred thousand of followers, was hacked. Celebrity friends of Vice Ganda also tweeted regarding the hacking of his Twitter account and advised everyone to be careful of posers.

Ogie Diaz, Vice Ganda’s manager, tweeted several times about the hacking and asked the person responsible to stop manipulating Vice Ganda’s Twitter account. “Kalokah yung nag-hack ng @vicegandako. Nako, andyan lang ang "karma" kung sino ka man. Ndi ka patutulugin ng kunsensya mo,” Ogie tweeted.

Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda’s friend who has over a million of Twitter followers, also warned everyone of the hacking and advised that Vice Ganda doesn’t have a new Twitetr account yet. “Hey guys Vice's Twitter account got hacked and is still trying to retrieve it. Wala pa syang bagong account for now!,” Anne tweeted.

An account with a username @vicegandakoNew surfaced yesterday and claimed that it’s the new Twitter account of Vice Ganda. The tweet says, “This is My new Account someone hacked my first account.” The said Twitter account also tweeted various celebrities saying that it’s Vice Ganda’s new account.

However, Ogie also tweeted that Vice Ganda doesn’t have a new account and asked the poser to stop deceiving people. “Wala pa pong new account si Vice Ganda. Poser po ang @vicegandakoNew. Wag ka nang manloko, pls,” Ogie tweeted.

As of now, Vice Ganda has not yet retrieved his Twitter account @vicegandako. Through a text sent to Yahoo! Philippines OMG!, Ogie said that it has not yet been retrieved. “Ndi pa eh,” Ogie texted.
