What IU Would Look Like if She Had Plastic Surgery?
IU has gone through many different image transformations before, but none quite like this one.
On March 31’s broadcast of KBS’ You’re the Best, Lee Soon Shin,, IU’s character, Lee Soon Shin finally decides to get signed at a company to become a celebrity. During a meeting to discuss IU’s potential as a celebrity, one staff member presented a picture of IU if she were to have surgery.
“It takes at least a year for the swelling to go down and everything to fall into place after you make the eyes bigger, make the nose taller, shave the jaw, and slightly rip the mouth,” said the staff member in the drama.
Luckily, Jo Jeong Seok, who recruited IU, gets angry, asking, “Are we trying to make a plastic monster? Go outside. There are plenty of plastic beauties out there.”
Jo Jeong Seok had a good reason to be upset, as the images of IU after surgery proved to be shocking and a bit unsettling.
Following the episode, netizens also agreed with Jo Jeong Seok’s character, saying that IU should never get surgery.
