What's happening to Toni Gonzaga?
Toni Gonzaga's recent absence from "The Buzz" and apperance on "The Voice Philippines" last Sunday, January 25, has made people wonder what's happening to her.
The singer-actress-host said in a statement her co-host Kris Aquino read on “The Buzz” that she (Toni) is “going through something personal.”
Sandy's apology
A viewer who saw Toni in “The Voice Philippines” a few hours after noticed that “something isn’t right” with Luis Manzano’s co-host in the show.

Meanwhile, Toni’s “Home Sweetie Home” co-star Sandy Andolong, has apologized for the birthday message she posted on Instagram which referred to the singer-actress-host as a "loving and loyal fiancé."
"I just based it on the fact that you (Toni and long-time boyfriend Paul Soriano) both have been in a very stable,& God centered relationship for years. Plus I just thought "fiance" sounded more appropriate & romantic than "boyfriend" ☺️ And I can see how you both bring out the best in each other," Sandy said.
Sandy was surprised at the reactions her previous post generated.
"I never realized it would cause so much commotion & reaction from so many people. Again, my deepest apology to Tin, Paul & their families for the trouble 😁 Ninerbyos ako at natawa sa usapan natin tuloy last night. Oh my, how I panicked. Thank you for taking it so well & for being very nice & understanding 😊 Love you Tin."
Paul can't be reached for comment because he is in Dubai with his family.
Bright side
Kris, for her part, would rather look at the bright side because “sometimes, something personal is something you like to keep private for a little bit.”
Kris thinks that since Toni promised to reveal the reason for her absence on “The Buzz” when she returns to the show, the singer-actress-host is not going through somethiing negative.
“Sa pagkakakilala natin kay Toni, she doesn’t like to burden us with problems. The fact na nakalagay doon na ‘I love my Buzz family at dito ko una ipapaalam,’ ang interpretation ko lang ay hindi ito malungkot na balita.”
Toni is expected to answer all questions on Sunday, February 1, when she returns to “The Buzz.”
