“I’m single and ready to mingle.”

The 24-year-old actor's latest announcement  Tuesday (March 18) got screams from mostly bachelorettes curious about the star’s love life.

Speaking to the media shortly after the Pond’s Men launch in Makati City, the 6-foot-1 actor said he was elated hearing the women scream when they heard the news.

“So yeah, nagpapasalamat ako dahil feeling ko ‘yung mga tumili sa right side mga fans ‘yun e.”

The “Bride for Rent” star gave rather very short answers and meaningful smiles when pressed about his “single” status.

“Why not?,” he said on whether he’s serious about his readiness to mingle.

Kim out of the picture

After two blockbuster movies, two hit teleseryes and countless unanswered questions on their relationship, what’s going to happen to the KimXi love team fans have been closely watching?

No one knows as even Xian ignored the question.

The two starred in two romantic-comedy films in a span of seven months—“Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?” (July 2013) and “Bride for Rent” (February 2014)—with the two movies reportedly grossing a total of over P400 million.

KimXi also appeared in “My Binondo Girl” (2011) and “Ina, Kapatid, Anak” (2013).

That’s why their diehard fans were left thinking: Why did such a money-making love team take a break?

Kim is now being paired up with Coco Martin in the new series “Ikaw Lamang,” while it’s still a wait-and-see game for Xian.

“Of course we're all part of one family, Star Magic. We're all part of one network. I'm just happy [for them],” he said about the new Kim-Coco team-up.

Not choosy

Xian, who’s been getting stereotyped with cute and charming roles on TV and film, is not choosy about whoever he’s going to partner for his upcoming movie and teleserye.

“Para sa’kin kahit sino po. I wanna be a versatile actor.”

And although he’s being an in-demand endorser now, Xian says keeping his image clean is easy because he’s just being himself.

“’Yung pinapakita ko po sa (social media), I’m sure a lot of people follow me on Twitter and IG (Instagram), ‘yung ang nakikita nila e. Pinopost ko ‘yung daily life ko e.”

For that, the US-raised actor is grateful.

“There’s so many things to be grateful for like this event. So many people are excited for the launch. I feel really blessed and there are so many things coming up my way and I’m just really excited.”
