At 24, singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino is ready to have a boyfriend – a God-fearing one, that is.

She admitted that her parents allowed her to have a boyfriend when she turned 21, but she preferred  to wait until she’s ready.

“This year, I'm looking forward sa isang magandang yugto at bagong kabanata ng aking buhay. Ay oo naman po, pero hintay lang,” Yeng said at the press launch of her new album “Metamorphosis” on Tuesday, February 19.

Yeng knows that a relationship is not something to be taken lightly.

“Alam mo na haharapin mo ang problema mo with your own responsibility.

Share of heartaches

While she hasn’t been in a relationship yet, Yeng revealed that she had her share of heartaches.

Yeng added that her experience on falling in love is the inspiration behind the romantic songs she wrote in her albums.

Her latest single “B.A.B.A.Y” is inspired by a close friend who fell in love with her.

“Metamorphosis,” produced by Sandwich vocalist Raimund Marasigan,  is made up of 10 original tracks, namely  “Hahanapin Kita,” “Josephine,” “Messiah,” “Pasensya Na,” “Sana ‘Di Pa Huli,” "Teleserye,” "Pag-ibig,” and “Sandata.”
