YouTube food channel program line-up

YouTube will be launching a new food channel called Hungry this summer, in response to shifting consumer habits away from traditional network TV.

Hungry debuts July 2 at http://www.youtube.com/hungry.

Here's a preview of the channel line-up so far.

Brothers Green
Set in hipster Brooklyn -- the Greenfield brothers face a culinary challenge in every episode, catering parties for local cult bands, food celebrities and neighborhood parties from their loft kitchen.

Casserole Queens
Hosted by a pair of best friends from Austin, these retro home cooks in vintage garb prepare classic comfort food recipes with a modern twist.

CitySearchEats
Hosted by online local guide Citysearch.com, this show takes viewers around hotspots known for local favorites and must-have dishes through the eyes of on-the-ground bloggers and foodie experts.

Duff's Food World
Duff's Food World explores fringe, foodie experiences like eating sushi off naked bodies in Vegas, and dining in the dark through the eyes of Duff Goldman, who already has a show on The Food Network. Ace of Cakes follows the cake chef at his Baltimore bakery.

Fung Bros. Mess with Texas
Hosted by a duo described as rappers, comedians, writers and food lovers, the Fung Bros. hit up Texas -- foreign territory for the pair -- visiting dude ranches and eating barbecue.

Yet-to-be-titled series hosted by chef Alex Thomopoulos
Comedian turned chef Alex Thomopoulos cooks gluten-free recipes.

New Pork
Chris Cosentino, another well-known food celebrity on US TV, has signed on for a series which will be dedicated to all things porcine, from pork belly, ham, loins, ribs and, of course, bacon.

Yet-to-be-titled series hosted by Laura Vitale
YouTube sensation Laura Vitale makes Italian desserts using old-fashioned elbow grease (no electric-powered tools in the kitchen).

Yet-to-be titled series from Urbanspoon
Blogger generated series on reviews of the best and most unique food finds in the US, from best burgers to crunchiest fries, tastiest street food, and boozy desserts.

Meanwhile, for a preview of mixologist cocktail show Drink Inc. hosted by Daniel K. Nelson, visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRQRfjsUdC0 -- a video on how to make a Pimm's Cup cocktail, with Pimm's, gin, mint and lime.
