Anne Curtis fills Araneta with 'noise' worth thousands of bucks

By Luigene Yanoria

Anne Curtis appeared loud and proud as she embraced "The Noise of the Philippines" tag from her legions of fans. The title, after all, comes with endless opportunities and huge revenues.

The crowd that filled the Araneta Coliseum on Friday didn't mind paying upwards of P5,000 to hear the "Concert Sweetheart" (another titled coined by Martin Nievera) scream her sweet lungs out for over two hours during her second go at staging a major concert.

Except for Luis Manzano, the lineup of guests in Anne's Forbidden Concert:AnneKapal were singers par excellence: Regine Velasquez, Martin Nievera and Ogie Alcasid. Yet the star of the show who concedes she is a non-singer (who happens to love singing) was by far the most applauded on stage.

Here are scenes from what was also a visual spectacle.
