Amitabh Bachchan celebrates Bhoothnath Returns success

Bollywood megastar, Amitabh Bachchan, celebrated success of his horror comedy movie, 'Bhoothnath Returns', with cast and crew in showbiz capital, Mumbai. Stars descended at the success bash when Bachhan along with others actors like Boman Irani, national award winning actress Usha Jadhav and child artist, Parth Bhalerao, raised toast to the success of the film at the box office. The movie, which released on April 11, earned rupees 180 million in its opening weekend. The horror-comedy film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and is a sequel to the film 'Bhoothnath', released in 2008. Boman Irani, who plays a villain in the movie, attributed the success of the film to the blend of a social message with comedy.Drawing from its prequel released in 2008, the protagonist Bhoothnath, played by Bachhan, is questioned in the ghost's world due to his bonding with kids. In order to redeem his image of being a scary ghost, he comes back to earth and fails again, but he earns a little friend Akhrot, essayed by Bhalerao.
