B1A4’s Sandeul, Ailee, and Girl’s Day to Pay Tribute to the Late Kim Kwang Suk on ‘Show Champion’
Paying tribute to a legend for what would have been his 50th birthday, B1A4’s Sandeul, Ailee, and Girl’s Day’s Minah and So Jin will be putting a special performance dedicated to the late Kim Kwang Suk.
On January 22, Sandeul, Ailee, Minah, and So Jin will be holding a dedication performance on MBC Music’s Show Champion just in time for the 50th birthday of the late Kim Kwang Suk, who passed away in 1996 after leaving a countless number of hit songs.
Minah and So Jin will sing A Reason Called Love, Sandeul, The First Day She Cried, and Ailee Although I Loved. The group will later rejoin to perform Stand Up together on the stage.
Ailee has previously performed Kim Kwang Suk’s songs on KBS’ Immortal Song. Sandeul was also praised for his singing on the same show, being called the idol Kim Kwang Suk by his seniors.
With Super Junior’s Kangin leading as the host, Show Champion will take place at 6PM (KST) in Ilsan.
