Crayon Pop received an award from Seoul Foreign Correspondents' Club

Crayon Pop received an award from Seoul Foreign Correspondents’ Club for promoting Korea.

On December 10th, Crayon Pop(Geum Mi, Elin, Cho-A, Wei, So Yul) attended '2013 Seoul Foreign Correspondents' Club Year End Event', and received Foreign Correspondents Award.

The award gets given to a person or a group who made significant contributions in promoting Korea to overseas, and approximately 300 foreign correspondents, diplomats, major politicians, economists, and civil officials attended the event.

After receiving the award, Crayon Pop performed 'Bba Bba Bba' and 'Lonely Christmas'.

Crayon Pop's 'Bba Bba Bba' music video became a hot issue among netizens at all over the world, a great number of people uploaded parody videos, and American medias introduced 'Bba Bba Bba' as the '2nd Gangnam Style'.

Crayon Pop said, "We are so glad to receive such a meaningful award, and we'd like to express thanks for everyone who made this possible. We will keep doing our best to contribute in promoting Korea."

Meanwhile, baseball player Ryu Hyun Jin, movie 'SNOWPIERCER', and minister Ryu Gil Jae of Ministry of Unification received awards under different categories.
