Miss Earth 2014: Miss Australia Nadine Roberts
What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
My advocacy is to raise more awareness, educate, inspire, and encourage greater involvement among our communities and leaders. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can change our thinking; and together, we can ensure preservation, protection, and sustainability of our Mother Earth.
I pledge to work with global initiatives, leading by example to raise social conscience. Step by step, little by little, we can transform the thinking, encourage buy-in, and work together for a healthier world and forge to achieve a sustainable future.
What tip can you share to promote this year's theme, Eco Tourism?
It is time to acknowledge the benefits of Eco Tourism so we can primarily focus on the natural beauty Australia has to offer, and develop a cultural understanding, appreciation, and conservation.
