Miss Earth 2014: Miss China Shirley Sham
What is your environmental advocacy and why did you choose this?
My environmental advocacy is to educate others to reuse and recycle waste. For instance, our 2014 Miss Earth China swimsuits are made of 87% PET plastic. As there is limited space on Earth for us to put trash, we should reduce consumption and find ways to utilize what we have, like reusing plastic water bottles. There are many ways that everyone can do their share to protect the environment.
What tip can you share to promote this year's theme, Eco Tourism?
The lighter the luggage, the less carbon dioxide emission.
